The latest version of the SMBX NPC Editor as of 2/16/15.
The single .exe is offered as an option for a quick update. If you do not have any prior version downloaded or an extremely outdated one, it is recommended you download the .zip.

- Fixed a bug where the application would ask you twice if you wanted to exit
- Fixed a bug where if you tried to open a file you already opened, you would get an AccessDenied error
- Fixed a bug where the 'Changed SMBX Directory' would append 'graphicsnpc' to the path (lolwut)
- Added a database (thanks to Wohl's configuration) of built in NPC's from SMBX
- Added warnings for when you try to animate and you don't have these values set (gfxheight, gfxwidth, frames)
- Tweaked the save as algorithm
- Implemented an algorithm that determines whether or not to use the default values or defined values for gfxheight, gfxwidth, or frames for the animator

Here I share some ideas that I have for the next version of smbx.
Sorry if any of these things I mentioned before, I do not remember what my previous suggestions were.
Note: Those requiring frames for the players may take a little longer.
I also plan to include frames for power ups that possibly are in smbx 1.4.5 like the boogmeran costume and the smw feather.
1 CUSTOM NPCS:
This would be very useful for things like custom power ups or items.
Think of 2 ways you could do:
A: Leave empty spaces, this was going to be done in the false version.
B: Leave a space to write the name of the npc (just like the music) and below a box where the npc appears.
2:CUSTOM POWER UPS WITHOUT REPLACING EXISTING (tea script feature):
It would be great to be able to add new power ups without replacing those that already exist.
I would also like the power up created can be added to the inventory.
Here would be very useful the option of custom npcs.

3 NEW FEATURE OF SMW GRANTS:
This I have been thinking for some time.
It would be very interesting to be able to climb from both sides (like SMW), and with this to add climbing koopas.
The graphics can detract a little, since I have to make frames for the players.
Here I have a preview of Mario-1.
4 NEW FEATURES FOR EXPANSION OF GRAPHICS:
This can be done since version 1.4.3 but I did some observations and there are some things that I would like to see in the next version.
a:When I put some enemy with things like lakitus or parachute can happen two things: or I have certain restrictions like not putting the first of one with the second of the other; Or the expansion is omitted directly.
A solution to all this would be to appear the pictures of both enemies.

b:When I choose an enemy that launches others (like the hammer bros) I would like to be able to customize the 2, this should also happen with the blocks, etc.

c:When an enemy launches another, and this one has an advanced configuration should appear also.
This will obviously have a limit, unless the enemy espauned can throw enemies.
5 DIAGONAL PIPE CANNON:
The title says it all, shoot out diagonally, as in smw.
Here would be a good place to put it (it will only be available with canon exit)
6 NEW GRAVITY OPTIONS:
a:Inverted gravity
b:Instead of increasing, that the force of gravity can be diminished, as if it were in space.
This could be done by adding negative values to the acceleration.

7 GROUND POUND:
This would be a good step to the next version.
One suggestion I have is that when this is activated, mini Mario can not eliminate the enemies through the spinjump.
8 NEW NPCS:
Here are some that I think are relevant
-smb3 buster beetle
-smw chargin chuck
-smw dry bone throwing bone
-up side piranha plant should be able to throw enemies.
You can create a red piranha plant upside or add the option to the existing one.
-fire snake

-smbtll green trampoline (or add that option to an existing one)
-smw triangle blocks (i think this is the most important). Missing player frames.
Below are all the folders.
9 This suggestion is not so important, but it would give a better touch to the game.
Mario and Luigi change frames when they take speed, I'll leave them down here, I'll also include those of triangle blocks.
